Job Title: Patient Support Specialist – Pgh Late Shift
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (On-Site)

Job Summary: We are supporting a healthcare-focused organization seeking a Patient Support Specialist – Pgh Late Shift to deliver high-touch assistance to patients, physicians, and pharmacies. This role is centered on clear communication, empathy, and dependable support to help create a positive experience and improve access to care.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound and outbound phone calls related to patient access to care and reimbursement support.
  • Handle claims support and provide accurate information that helps patients navigate program requirements.
  • Work closely with internal teams to escalate issues and help resolve service-related concerns.
  • Deliver empathetic, patient-focused support while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and communication.

Required:

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • 1+ years of healthcare or case management experience in a high-volume contact center environment or similar setting is preferred.
  • Experience in pharmacy benefits, health care insurance, and/or medical billing is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, customer focus, adaptability, and emotional intelligence are required.
  • Experience with call center software such as Five9, In-Contact, or similar is a plus.
  • Fluency in English/Spanish is a plus.
