Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (AM&D ECG Solutions)
Location: San Diego, California (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are supporting an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer supporting a highly collaborative, cross-functional Scrum environment within a regulated medical device setting. Our team is seeking a candidate who can help design, build, and maintain secure, scalable applications that support critical software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, and Angular.
- Build secure APIs with GraphQL and support asynchronous messaging and event-driven systems using RabbitMQ.
- Develop backend services using microservices architecture, with a focus on scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, test, deploy, and document software in compliance with regulated industry standards, including IEC 62304.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or higher is a plus.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on full-stack development.
- Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot), JavaScript, and Angular, plus proven experience with microservice architectures and distributed systems.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Kubernetes (EKS), GraphQL, RabbitMQ, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
