Job Title: Design and Analysis Engineer
Location: Long Beach, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are supporting a contract opportunity for a Design and Analysis Engineer. This role focuses on electrical product details, assembly, and installation design while helping ensure compliance, integration, and certification support across a broad range of aircraft modification work.
Responsibilities:
- Review supplier technical data to support system integration and compliance with requirements.
- Work with customers and suppliers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Document processes, specifications, and procedures that support design, qualification, certification, and manufacturing activities.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration across the product lifecycle.
Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-U.S. equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- Knowledge of verification, validation, certification, and qualification processes and procedures, including DO-160, DO-178, DO-254, and D6 requirements, plus governing regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience documenting, testing, and troubleshooting the qualification and certification of electronic and electrical components and line replaceable units.
- Familiarity with FAA and EASA certification regulations and requirements.
- 5+ years of related work experience.
