Job Title: Senior Engineer
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Engineer to support automation programs and capital projects that help enable clinical and commercial manufacturing operations. This position will play a key part in implementing automation solutions, supporting post-implementation activities, and ensuring compliance with engineering and operational standards.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the Plant Automation team during implementation of automation solutions, including DCS, PLC, HMI, SCADA, related hardware, software, network infrastructure, and electronic reporting scope.
- Support post-implementation activities by extending hyper-care support, training system owners and manufacturing teams, revising SOPs and training documents, and updating spare parts lists and system records.
- Ensure compliance with engineering and operational standards, specifications, procedures, and applicable environmental health and safety practices.
- Support capital projects, new product introductions, and technology introductions through automation engineering assessments, system configuration changes, and qualification-run support.
Required:
- Doctorate degree, or master’s degree with 2 years of experience, or bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience, or associate’s degree with 8 years of experience, or high school diploma/GED with 10 years of experience.
- Emerson Delta-V DCS programming experience.
- Rockwell Automation SCADA and PLC experience.
- Experience supporting compliance with regulatory requirements such as 21 CFR Part 11.
