Job Title: Data Center Technician
Location: Owings Mills, Maryland (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Data Center Technician to support the safe, reliable operation of a critical facility environment. Our team is looking for someone who can perform facility rounds, monitor systems, respond to issues, and help maintain uptime through consistent preventive maintenance and clear communication.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance, site monitoring, engineering rounds, and facility rounds to support day-to-day operations.
- Check and record operating numbers, monitor power, cooling capacity, and environmental conditions, and maintain accurate facility data.
- Respond to electrical, mechanical, pump, and fire system issues, and provide basic instructions and direction to support resolution.
- Support 24/7 operations by working flexible shifts and collaborating with contractors and team members to maintain a safe, reliable environment.
Required:
- 5-7 years of experience is required.
- 1-3+ years of experience in Mission Critical Environments is preferred.
- Prior military or technical school training is preferred.
- Electrical or mechanical license is preferred.
