Job Title: Test & Evaluation Lab Technician
Location: Tukwila, Washington (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are supporting the search for a detail-oriented lab professional to help conduct mechanical testing on aerospace materials, aircraft parts, and subcomponents. Our team is looking for someone who can contribute to test setup, data collection, analysis, and technical reporting within a fast-paced structures lab environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and validate test articles, rigs, fixtures, load introductions, and instrumentation strategies to meet test objectives.
- Operate test equipment software and hardware to execute test plans and detailed procedures.
- Coordinate test requirements, determine test methods and capabilities, and collaborate with design engineering and fabrication.
- Follow detailed test procedures, safety plans, and test checklists while performing data reduction, preparing technical reports, and supporting multiple test programs.
Required:
- AA degree in a related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic PC skills with Windows OS.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
