Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: Oxford, Ohio (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are looking for a Facilities Technician to support day-to-day building maintenance and keep the facility operating safely and efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance routines and document work accurately to support safe and reliable building operations.
- Troubleshoot and complete basic repairs across HVAC controls, electrical circuits, plumbing components, locks, doors, furniture, and other building systems.
- Carry out general handyman tasks such as filter changes, leak repairs, light bulb replacement, floor repairs, painting, drywall repairs, and office furniture adjustments.
- Support facility needs through special maintenance tasks, material moves, tenant service requests, documentation, and other duties assigned by leadership.
Required:
- Hands-on maintenance experience with basic plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, HVAC controls, and drywall repairs.
- Ability to work with AC/DC electrical circuits and basic HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and the ability to perform physical labor including bending, lifting 50+ lbs, and handling tools.
- Basic understanding of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and the ability to learn and operate basic computer programs and systems.
- Friendly personality and commitment to customer service; construction or handyman experience is needed, with 5+ years of construction experience listed in the job description and about 3 years of experience noted in the role overview.
