Job Title: HEOR Consultant – Research Health Economist
Location: Princeton, New Jersey (On-Site)

Job Summary: We are supporting a search for an experienced health economics professional to contribute to evidence generation across the product life cycle. We are looking for someone who can help shape analyses, literature reviews, and deliverables that support payer and HTA-focused decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Support evidence synthesis, outcomes research, and analytical work under the direction of project leads.
  • Assist with protocol development and end-to-end execution of outcome research supporting launch and commercialization activities.
  • Conduct primary, secondary, and exploratory analyses, including HCRU, HCRU cost modeling, difference-in-differences, GLM-based methods, dosage interval analyses, time-to-event analyses, and decision analytic modeling.
  • Prepare proposals, technical reports, slide presentations, abstracts, manuscripts, and other deliverables, while communicating progress and findings to internal stakeholders.

Required:

  • PhD in industrial engineering, operations research, mathematics, economics/health economics, pharmaceutical outcomes & policy, statistics, biostatistics, decision sciences, health services research, or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree in one of these fields with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in HCRU analysis, HCRU cost modeling, difference-in-differences and GLM-based methods, dosage interval analyses, time-to-event analyses, and decision analytic modeling, including Markov and simulation models.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL (Snowflake), R or Python, and SAS; 5+ years of experience in Excel, Python/R, and SQL.
  • Experience conducting targeted literature searches and working with open claims, closed claims, and electronic medical record (EMR) datasets, along with strong understanding of clinical development, research study designs, and real-world evidence.
