Job Title: Industrial HVAC Technician
Location: Mattawan, Michigan (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are working with this company to present an opportunity for an Industrial HVAC Technician supporting critical building systems in a hands-on, on-site environment. Our goal is to connect qualified candidates with a position where technical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and reliable system performance are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and repair work on boilers, chillers, cooling towers, softeners, pumps, motors, valves, and related distribution systems.
- Support maintenance and repair activities for air compressors, breathing air systems, air handling units, and roof top HVAC units.
- Conduct routine tests and inspections on support equipment, including water testing, chemical inventories, and brine levels.
- Document work completed in the computerized maintenance management system and communicate regularly with supervision and engineering leadership.
Required:
- EPA Universal certification is required.
- Hands-on experience with industrial HVAC systems and large equipment is required; residential experience is not the focus for this role.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience is required.
- Must have experience with steam boilers up to 37.5 MMBTU, water boilers up to 6 MMBTU, chillers up to 1,000 tons, and a general understanding of computers.
