Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are representing an opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to support internal audit initiatives through software design, development, testing, and documentation. Our team is looking for someone who can help create reliable technical solutions, strengthen automation coverage, and contribute to an agile environment focused on continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software solutions that address complex business needs.
- Prepare technical and procedural documentation to support the work.
- Facilitate complex problem resolution and provide technical guidance to colleagues.
- Review coding, testing, and documentation while supporting modern principles, methodologies, and tools.
Required:
- Bachelor degree required.
- Strong hands-on Python development experience, with 3+ years typical and demonstrated proficiency in OOP concepts, modular design, data structures and algorithms, package management, and dependency handling.
- Experience with at least one Python-based automation stack, including PyTest or unittest frameworks, Selenium WebDriver, or Playwright.
- Ability to automate UI testing, API testing, and integration/system testing, with a solid understanding of test design, test data management, assertions, and validations.
- Experience creating and executing manual test cases for UI and backend applications, using Jira, and generating test summary reports.
