Job Title: HVAC Technician
Location: Charleston, South Carolina (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are representing an opportunity for a hands-on HVAC Technician to support safe, efficient building operations through preventive maintenance, repairs, and responsive service. Our team is seeking a professional who can combine technical expertise with strong coordination skills to help maintain critical mechanical systems and support facility performance.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise contractors and monitor assigned work to ensure quality, safety, and completion standards are met.
- Perform maintenance service requests and preventive/predictive maintenance across HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
- Respond to building emergencies and after-hours site issues, and complete facility inspections with technical reporting and improvement recommendations.
- Mentor junior staff, support maintenance training, and document work activity and materials in a computerized maintenance management system.
Required:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience as a Senior HVAC Tech, Lead HVAC Tech, or similar role.
- 2+ years of people management experience managing maintenance or engineering personnel.
- EPA Section 608 Universal certification and a Journeyman Refrigeration Technician's License / Refrigeration Technicians License.
- Valid state driver's license that must be maintained.
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and/or Building Management System (BMS).
