Job Title: Assistant Electrical Detailer
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico OR Phoenix, AZ (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an Assistant Electrical Detailer to support drawing production, CAD work, and project execution across a diverse portfolio of projects. Our team is looking for someone who can help maintain quality, manage priorities, and contribute to efficient delivery in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with a full range of drawing production work and project deliverables.
- Support CAD drawing production, project execution, printing, scanning, and submission of drawing packages.
- Maintain high CAD proficiency, uphold client or company CAD standards, and provide quality feedback on work.
- Assist with QA/QC efforts, communicate workload and priorities, and collaborate with project teams to resolve drawing issues.
Required:
- Bachelor degree in drafting technology or related field with a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or associate degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience, or high school diploma/GED with 4 years of progressive detailing and design experience.
- Basic understanding of design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Excel.
- Ability to utilize both 2D and 3D applications to prepare engineering drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
