Job Title: Mobile HVAC Service Technician
Location: Columbia, South Carolina (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are recruiting for a Mobile HVAC Service Technician to support commercial properties across an assigned territory with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work. This position is well-suited for a candidate who can work independently, manage multiple sites, and deliver dependable service across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repair services on commercial HVAC systems and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical distribution systems, plumbing systems, building automation controls, and fire/life safety systems.
- Complete assigned work orders using CMMS technology and conduct facility inspections and due diligence assessments.
- Travel between multiple client locations, respond to on-call duties, and maintain professional communication with property management teams.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED; technical training or trade school degree preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of technical experience in commercial building engineering with a strong background in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Universal EPA/CFC certification is required.
- Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
