Job Title: Operations Specialist (Grain Elevator / General Labor)
Location: Hazel, MN (Onsite)
About the Opportunity
- We’re seeking an Operations Specialist to support daily operations at a grain elevator facility in Hazel, MN. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates who enjoy physical work, operating equipment, and working outdoors.
- This position supports the busy harvest season with the potential to convert to a full-time opportunity for the right individual.
What You’ll Do
- Load and unload grain trucks and railcars
- Prepare railcars for loading and unloading, including opening hatches and attaching hoses
- Operate forklifts, loaders, conveyors, tractors, and other facility equipment
- Monitor automated scale and load-out systems
- Perform routine maintenance such as greasing equipment and replacing belts
- Maintain inventory quality and complete operational records
- Keep the facility clean and safe through daily housekeeping
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a strong safety culture
Required
- At least 1 year of experience in warehouse, manufacturing, agriculture, operations, construction, or other hands-on industrial environments
- Comfortable performing physical labor and lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Willing to work at heights, including grain bins, ladders, railcars, and catwalks
- Available to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and extended hours during harvest season
Preferred
- Grain elevator experience
- Farming or agricultural background
- Mechanical aptitude
- Forklift or heavy equipment experience
- High School Diploma or GED
