Job Title: Systems Engineer
Location: El Segundo, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking talented professionals for a Systems Engineer opportunity focused on advanced satellite communications and signal processing. Our team is representing this position for a company that values technical depth, collaboration, and contributions across the full system lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop next generation RF and digital satellite communication systems.
- Develop and verify multi-rate, fixed-point signal processing algorithms and perform waveform development and characterization.
- Conduct performance analysis, trade studies, and detailed system design and verification activities.
- Support integration and test, HDL-level design and verification, and lead teams and IR&D activities.
Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 3+ years of experience with Matlab or Simulink.
- 5+ years of experience in core digital communications and signal processing theory.
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, including requirements definition, allocation, verification, architecture design, and trade design.
- 1+ years of experience working with FPGAs or ASICs.
- Experience in digital signal processing and digital communications algorithms and techniques, including equalization, turbo/viterbi coding/decoding, channel estimation, filter design, and resampling theory.
