Job Title: Buyer/Procurement Analyst
Location: New York, New York (Hybrid) – onsite 3 days a week
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-driven procurement operations professional to support end-to-end purchase execution, vendor coordination, and invoice readiness within a fast-moving global environment. This opportunity offers the chance to keep purchasing activity accurate, compliant, and moving smoothly across stakeholders, systems, and finance partners.
Responsibilities:
- Review incoming purchase requests, triage by priority and complexity, and create accurate requisitions while mapping commodity codes, cost centers, project codes, and service dates correctly.
- Coordinate with vendors, requesters, FP&A, Accounts Payable, Sourcing, and other stakeholders to resolve missing information, confirm budget and coding, and support smooth invoice processing.
- Manage PO amendments, renewals, monthly netting activities, closures, and compliance checks, including after-the-fact purchases, emergency exceptions, blanket PO scenarios, and regional requirements.
- Support vendor onboarding and assessment completion, monitor goods receipts, and follow up on issues that could delay payment or create downstream rework.
Required:
- 2+ years in procurement operations or procure-to-pay execution with hands-on PO creation and queue management experience.
- Experience with Coupa is required
- Working knowledge of how GL accounts, cost centers, project codes, and payment terms connect.
- Ability to manage a queue of requests at different stages while meeting response SLAs.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills across Finance, AP, Legal, and business stakeholders, plus high attention to detail across data inputs before submission.
- Experience in a global or multi-entity environment where regional requirements impact PO structure.
