Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: Columbus, Ohio (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are supporting an opportunity for a Facilities Technician focused on maintaining safe, secure, and well-functioning building operations across assigned facilities. This position supports critical maintenance activities, troubleshooting, and preventive upkeep to help keep daily operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor building conditions to help ensure a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment.
- Troubleshoot HVAC, power, mechanical, and controls issues and perform corrective repairs as needed.
- Support preventive maintenance activities across HVACR, chiller, electrical, plumbing, and other facility systems.
- Complete general facility tasks such as lighting repairs, moving equipment and furniture, painting, and hardware maintenance.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- 2-4 years of experience is required.
- Experience with commercial building or facilities maintenance, including commercial HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems is preferred for consideration.
- EPA 608 Universal certification is highly preferred; strong Master Electricians or Plumbers may also be considered.
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory, and candidates must successfully pass the required background check.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively is required.
