Job Title: Mobile Engineer
Location: Columbia, South Carolina (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are recruiting for an opportunity that keeps critical facility systems operating smoothly across multiple locations. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys varied work, takes pride in reliable maintenance, and brings strong communication skills to every assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, monitoring, repairs, and troubleshooting for mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
- Travel between multiple facilities to support proper equipment function and ensure work is completed within the required timeframe.
- Inspect, clean, calibrate, and replace parts to maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment at optimal performance levels.
- Support safety, housekeeping, inventory control, and oversight of outside contractor maintenance work.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of experience required, including experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
- Ability to analyze commercial or industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems and take corrective action when problems are identified.
- EPA 608 Type II Certification required; EPA 608 Universal Certification is preferred.
- Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license.
