Job Title: Senior Engineer
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Engineer to support plant automation programs and capital projects within a manufacturing and clinical supply environment. Our team is looking for a candidate who can help drive automation solutions, support post-implementation activities, and ensure alignment with engineering and operational standards.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the Plant Automation team during project implementation of automation solutions, including DCS, PLC, HMI, SCADA, related hardware, software, network infrastructure, and electronic reporting scope.
- Support post-implementation activities by extending hyper-care support, training system owners and manufacturing teams, revising SOPs and training documents, and updating asset and CMDB records.
- Ensure compliance with engineering and operational standards, specifications, and procedures during project design and implementation.
- Support functional area projects, new product introductions, and technology introductions by performing automation engineering assessments, implementing configuration changes, and supporting engineering and process qualification runs.
Required:
- Doctorate degree, or master’s degree with 2 years of experience, or bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience, or associate degree with 8 years of experience, or high school diploma/GED with 10 years of experience.
- Emerson Delta-V DCS programming experience.
- Rockwell Automation SCADA and PLC experience.
- Experience working with compliance requirements such as 21 CFR Part 11.
