Job Title: Senior Back End Developer
Location: Remote (EST only)
Job Summary: We are representing an opportunity for a backend engineering professional to help shape an interactive AI-powered listening experience for millions of users worldwide. This position offers the chance to build and improve LLM-based solutions, collaborate across product and engineering functions, and influence backend architecture at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop high volume Java Backend Services
- Design, build, evaluate, and ship LLM-based solutions that support an interactive listening experience and a “Just Press to Play” experience.
- Collaborate with user research, design, data science, product management, and engineering partners to deliver new product capabilities.
- Contribute as a technical leader within an autonomous, cross-functional agile team.
- Influence backend architecture and help drive improvements across the broader engineering community.
Required:
- Must have prior experience working within enterprise-level organizations in Marketplace, Media, Big Tech/Consumer Tech, Streaming, Entertainment, or Audio/Music industries.
- Must be located in Eastern Time Zone
- Experience writing high-volume services with over 1 million daily users
- Over 8 years of experience in Java Backend Development
- Experience working with LLMs or machine learning systems.
- Strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment that values experimentation and rapid iteration.
