Job Title: Program Manager – AI Skills Repository
Location: San Francisco, California (Remote)
We are looking for a hands-on AI Skills Program Manager to build, manage, and govern a shared repository of reusable AI skills, primarily using Claude. This person will work directly with stakeholders to understand recurring business workflows, create and refine AI skills, test outputs, and ensure solutions are reliable, reusable, and valuable to internal teams.
This role is focused on AI skills, prompts, workflows, repository management, testing, and governance rather than AI/ML model development.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a centralized repository of reusable Claude/AI skills for internal business teams.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify recurring workflows, gather requirements, define expected outputs, and prioritize high-value use cases.
- Create and refine AI skills, prompts, and workflows that improve or automate internal processes.
- Improve existing AI skills and prototypes to produce accurate, consistent, repeatable, and trusted outputs.
- Establish standards for how AI skills are created, tested, approved, documented, versioned, shared, updated, and retired.
- Develop test cases, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and quality standards for AI skills.
- Maintain repository documentation, version history, ownership, metadata, and change logs.
- Work with MCP connections, APIs, connectors, and relevant enterprise data sources supporting AI workflows.
- Gather stakeholder feedback and continuously improve skills based on user needs and results.
- Track adoption, quality, workflow improvements, and measurable time savings.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience building and managing an AI skills repository.
- Hands-on experience building AI skills and workflows using Claude. Claude experience required.
- Experience working with stakeholders to define requirements, test AI skills, and validate outputs.
- Experience testing and evaluating LLM outputs for accuracy, consistency, repeatability, edge cases, and practical usefulness.
- Experience improving AI skills or prototypes into reliable, trusted tools that can be shared across an organization.
- Experience with MCP, APIs, connectors, enterprise data sources, or similar integrations supporting AI workflows.
- Strong repository governance experience, including version control, documentation, approval processes, ownership, and change management.
- Strong cross-functional experience working with Product, Engineering, Operations, Analytics, and business teams.
- Technical program or project management experience supporting AI-enabled workflows, internal tools, or software products.
