Job Title: Product Designer – Specialized
Location: Beaverton, OR (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are working with a leading apparel organization seeking a creative and detail-oriented professional to support the development of assigned styles from concept through production. Our team is looking for someone who can help ensure fit, construction, and development documentation are aligned to product goals, critical dates, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate fit and construction activities from initial concept through commercialization and production for assigned styles.
- Create and revise tech packs and maintain development documentation, including product specs and prototype notes.
- Track prototyping progress, identify construction and manufacturing challenges, and support timely resolution.
- Collaborate with design, product management, PCC, materials, and manufacturing teams to support product development and fit goals.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in apparel design, textile science, or a related field, or two additional years of product creation experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum 3 years of technical design experience in the apparel industry, including pattern making, grading, construction, materials, costing, manufacturing, and quality.
- Experience writing product specs and construction standards instructions, and working with factory vendors to improve manufacturability.
- Experience using Adobe Illustrator, CAD Pattern Design software such as Optitex, and 3D software such as Clo or Browzwear is highly desired.
