Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: Chatsworth, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are recruiting for a Facilities Technician opportunity supporting a busy workplace environment where dependable building operations matter every day. This position plays a key part in keeping electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and general facility systems running smoothly while helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and productive space for occupants.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations, prioritizing issues that affect safety and productivity.
- Carry out basic troubleshooting and repairs on lighting, power distribution, heating and cooling equipment, plumbing fixtures, and other building systems.
- Support workplace changes by assembling, disassembling, moving, and reconfiguring furniture, fixtures, and equipment, while coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed.
Required:
- 2-4 years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry.
- Trade school, union training, military service, or college is desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall.
- Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift, and/or drive, with strong customer service skills.
