Job Title: Operating Engineer
Location: Chino, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are recruiting for an opportunity that plays a key part in keeping onsite building systems running smoothly and reliably. Our team is looking for a professional who can support daily operations, respond to work orders, and help maintain a safe and functional environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain refrigeration, water cooling, air conditioning, heating, plumbing, pumps, valves, piping, filters, and other mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Review logs, report problems or malfunctions, and perform preventive tasks when required to support reliable building operations.
- Oversee contractors working within the building and help ensure safe, coordinated work on critical infrastructure.
- Identify safety hazards, support compliance documentation, and help maintain a secure and functional onsite environment.
Required:
- 2-3+ years of facility-related work experience, including customer service, leadership, and supervisory experience.
- Associate degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
- Experience with HVAC and plumbing; exposure to fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems engineering and operation.
- Operating Engineers license (SMA) or equivalent.
