Job Title: Mobile Engineer
Location: Tallahassee, Florida (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are recruiting on behalf of a company seeking a skilled and adaptable facility maintenance professional to support multiple locations across the Tallahassee area. We are looking for someone who can keep building systems operating safely and efficiently while delivering strong communication and hands-on technical support.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, monitoring, repairs, and troubleshooting across Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems.
- Travel between multiple facilities and help ensure proper function across each location.
- Carry out preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, readings, calibration, and part replacement to support HVAC system performance.
- Follow safety procedures, maintain clean work areas, and help identify and reduce workplace hazards.
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5-6 years of experience working with commercial building systems and HVAC equipment.
- Ability to analyze Commercial or Industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems and take corrective action.
- EPA 608 Type II Certification is required, EPA 608 Universal Certification is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC is preferred.
