Job Title: Mobile Engineer
Location: Columbus, Ohio (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are supporting a dynamic facilities-focused opportunity for a Mobile Engineer responsible for maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient building systems across multiple facilities. Our team is looking for a professional who can bring hands-on technical expertise, strong troubleshooting ability, and a proactive approach to keeping operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, monitoring, and repairs across mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
- Travel between multiple facilities to support proper function and continuity of operations.
- Maintain responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, and contracted maintenance oversight.
- Inspect, calibrate, clean, and adjust equipment to help maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment at optimal performance levels.
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of experience required.
- Experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
- Ability to analyze commercial or industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, determine the cause of problems or malfunctions, and take corrective action.
- EPA 608 Type II Certification required; EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred.
- Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel, plus a valid driver’s license.
- Two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC is preferred.
