Job Title: Logistics Analyst – Junior
Location: Marlborough, MA (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented logistics professional to support inbound transportation operations and help ensure products move efficiently from vendors to store locations. Our team is looking for someone who can respond quickly to time-sensitive requests, coordinate with external partners, and contribute to reporting and process support in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage communication with carriers and vendors through email and phone to resolve operational issues efficiently.
- Track delays and escalate relevant updates related to weather, rail line closures, and other transportation disruptions.
- Support daily and weekly reporting for the domestic transportation team and assist with special assignments.
- Monitor shipments for compliance, evaluate routing options, and help recommend optimal transportation solutions.
Required:
- 1–5 years of logistics, supply chain, or relevant internship experience.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite experience, including Excel for data analysis and pivot tables, Outlook for high-volume email communication, and Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, adaptability, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manipulate data and make inferences from data; preferred background includes a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, or Industrial Engineering.
- Transportation management system like Blue Yonder, etc.
