Location: New York, New York (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are representing an opportunity for an experienced leader to support complex project controls across multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment. Our team is looking for a candidate who can help drive accurate cost management, risk awareness, and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project controls across multiple large-scale, complex projects and support delivery through all stages.
- Prepare detailed construction cost and project cost estimates from conceptual design through final construction documents.
- Assess risk, support change management, prepare bid analysis, and provide project progress reporting to stakeholders.
- Partner with internal and external teams to support client service, value engineering, design option reviews, and project audits.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- 10+ years of experience as an Estimator, Cost Manager, or in a similar role.
- Experience with both pre-contract and post-contract management project work; ability to generate AACE level 1-5 cost evaluations.
- Strong knowledge of estimating software and benchmarking tools; familiarity with Cost-X, On-Screen Takeoff, or other estimating software is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and ability to manage multiple projects while adapting to changing priorities.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to meet the stated background check requirements.
