Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: San Jose, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are partnering with this company to present an opportunity for a Facilities Technician supporting day-to-day building operations and maintenance activities. Our team is sharing this role with candidates who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and helping maintain a safe and efficient workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Manage preventive and repair response work orders for facility mechanical, plumbing, and other installed systems, equipment, and components.
- Perform facility inspections and due diligence efforts, documenting conditions that impact client occupancy and operations.
- Support general interior maintenance and maintain safe, organized work areas by following all safety procedures.
- Use CMMS systems such as Corrigo to complete work, close out requests, escalate issues, and coordinate with vendors and client stakeholders as needed.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of applicable working experience in general building repair, maintenance, and basic plumbing.
- Strong customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to problem solve maintenance tasks and troubleshoot issues.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs., work from heights, climb a ladder up to 30 feet or more, and frequently climb, bend, lift, kneel, stoop, and work overhead.
