Job Title: Scientist
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are supporting a Scientist opportunity with this company, where the focus is on mass spectrometry-based protein characterization and automated analytical workflows. We are looking to connect with candidates who can contribute to LC-MS data acquisition, sample preparation, and the development of high-quality scientific results that support the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Perform peptide mapping, intact mass, and related LC-MS studies to support protein primary structure and quality attribute characterization.
- Support automated sample preparation, mass spectrometry data acquisition, and analysis across diverse assay formats.
- Assist with maintenance of Structural Analytics instruments and support a phase-appropriate GMP environment.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and timely documentation of experiments, protocols, methods, and data analyses.
Required:
- Doctorate degree, or a Masters degree with 2 years of experience, or a Bachelors degree with 4 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience with peptide mapping sample preparation.
- Experience with LC-MS and protein characterization.
- Ability to perform data analysis and contribute to scientific results.
- Interest in supporting small molecule release testing in a GMP environment.
