Job Title: Electrician
Location: Romulus, Michigan (On-Site)
Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrician to support critical maintenance work within a fast-paced industrial facility. This position offers the opportunity to keep essential electrical systems operating safely and efficiently, helping minimize downtime and support continuous production.
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and alter electrical services, equipment, and controls using approved wire, conduit, raceways, and equipment.
- Work with high-voltage and low-voltage systems to diagnose issues and complete repairs in accordance with NFPA 70E standards, using appropriate Arc Flash PPE.
- Perform electrical work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions while following safety protocols and maintaining a clean, efficient work area.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and test instruments commonly used in the electrical trade, and report unsafe conditions or equipment needing repair promptly.
Required:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- State of Michigan or UAW Journeyman's Card, or an equivalent Journeyman Electrical License.
- Valid state driver's license in good standing.
- Minimum 2 years of electrical trade experience and a solid understanding of NFPA 70E standards, including the ability to work on energized equipment with proper Arc Flash PPE.
- Physical ability to bend, stand, climb, and walk, and to safely use manual and power tools common in building maintenance.
- Ability to understand and use proper protective equipment (PPE) when necessary; preferred qualifications include a trade license, CMMS and/or database experience, strong customer service, organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and availability for call-in work.
