Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: New Albany, Ohio (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support a pharmaceutical distribution and office environment with a strong focus on plumbing and building reliability. This position plays a key part in maintaining safe, clean, and compliant operations while supporting essential facility systems and responding to service needs efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance on plumbing systems, water systems, sanitary and storm sewer systems, sump pumps, and grease traps.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace valves, piping, fixtures, regulators, pumps, and related components.
- Support building systems including HVAC hydronic systems, compressed air, utility piping, lighting, and minor electrical work.
- Read blueprints, schematics, P&IDs, and equipment manuals; complete work orders, logs, inspections, and compliance documentation using a CMMS.
Required:
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial building maintenance with a strong emphasis on plumbing systems.
- Demonstrated senior-level maintenance mechanic experience.
- Working knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to complete a background check and possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, climb ladders up to 30 ft, and work in mechanical spaces.
- Preferred: experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, laboratory, or manufacturing facilities; journeyman plumber license or equivalent certification; CMMS experience (Maximo, Archibus, or similar); working knowledge of mechanical or HVAC systems.
