Job Title: Color Design
Location: Beaverton, Oregon (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are representing an opportunity for a creative professional to help shape seasonal color direction for basketball apparel across signature, branded, and licensed collections. Our team is looking for someone who can translate consumer insights into compelling visual narratives, collaborate across functions, and present concepts with clarity and confidence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop seasonal color direction and design concepts for basketball apparel assortments.
- Collaborate with apparel design, product management, and development teams to communicate design intent and support schematic creation.
- Create storytelling and original content that strengthens seasonal narratives and presentation materials.
- Present design concepts to internal and external partners and contribute to prototype reviews and workshops.
Required:
- 6+ years of design experience is preferred.
- Degree preferred in graphic design, fashion design, industrial design, apparel design, material design, textile design, or a related field; suitable combinations of education, experience, and training will also be considered.
- Professional-level experience using Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Working knowledge of Miro, CLO, and Vizcom.
- Strong understanding of emerging design and fashion trends in sportswear and streetwear footwear and apparel.
- Foundational understanding of apparel construction, schematic development, tech pack creation, color theory, textiles, and the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
