Job Title: HVAC Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana (On-Site)
Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm
Job Summary: We are partnering with this company to present an opportunity for a skilled facilities professional who can support HVAC maintenance and broader building upkeep across assigned sites. This position is ideal for a reliable candidate who can handle preventative and corrective maintenance, respond to work orders, and help keep critical systems operating efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems.
- Complete HVAC maintenance tasks, including cleaning coils, changing filters, and replacing belts.
- Support building upkeep by handling repairs for locks, doors, furniture, plumbing components, lighting, walls, flooring, and other assigned areas.
- Prioritize work orders, update status in the CMMS system, and follow safety procedures and building code requirements.
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of experience required, including a minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience.
- Commercial HVAC experience is required; residential-only experience is not sufficient.
- Related experience and/or training in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing is required, along with the ability to lift up to 80 lbs and use basic computer applications such as MS Office, Outlook, and CMMS systems like Maximo.
- Preferred qualifications include EPA Universal License, BAS experience, and experience with preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
