Job Title: Associate Scientist
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are recruiting for an Associate Scientist opportunity supporting drug product formulation and process development for biologics in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Our team is looking for a candidate who can contribute to study execution, data analysis, and technical documentation while working closely with cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities:
- Support planning, design, execution, and documentation of studies related to drug product formulation and process development.
- Conduct and support studies such as UF/DF, filtration, freeze/thaw, and fill/finish across liquid and lyophilized product formats.
- Perform analytical testing and data analysis, including pH, conductivity, osmolality, protein concentration, HPLC, CE, and related product characterization methods.
- Author, review, and verify technical documents, maintain electronic notebook records, and communicate progress clearly in reports and presentations.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree accepted in lieu of the bachelor’s-plus-experience path noted in the posting.
- 2+ years of relevant lab experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience as listed in the basic qualifications.
- Hands-on laboratory experience with lab equipment and techniques, including HPLC, densitometer, viscometer, and tensiometer.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, communicate effectively, and support onsite lab operations and equipment maintenance.
- Understanding of physical and chemical stability of proteins, with strong attention to detail, organization, and recordkeeping.
- Proficiency with computer use, independent research, problem solving, adaptability, and compliance with procedures, training, and safety guidance.
