Job Title: Senior Business Analyst – Power BI Developer (SQL & Excel)
Location: Baltimore, Maryland (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are representing a compelling opportunity for a data-focused professional to support program, financial, and operational reporting needs through clear, actionable insights. We are seeking someone who can build and maintain Power BI dashboards and executive-level reports that strengthen decision-making, governance, and external stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and executive-level reports that translate complex data into clear insights.
- Gather and analyze business requirements for reporting and dashboard needs across program, financial, and operational areas.
- Standardize and automate recurring reporting while ensuring data accuracy across multiple sources.
- Support ad hoc analysis, data validation, and ongoing improvements to reporting efficiency and scalability.
Required:
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
- Strong ability to develop complex data models and datasets in Power BI.
- Experience with advanced data transformation and cleansing processes in Power BI.
- Ability to write and optimize DAX queries for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience creating interactive reports and dashboards and validating them for accuracy, performance, and reliability.
- Ability to document report specifications, data sources, and data dictionaries, while collaborating with business users and stakeholders.
