Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Fargo, North Dakota (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are recruiting for a hands-on maintenance professional to support facilities across a multi-site territory. Our team is looking for someone who can keep buildings operating smoothly through responsive repairs, preventive maintenance, and strong customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform minor plumbing repairs, including leak resolution, fixture maintenance, and clearing clogs.
- Handle basic electrical maintenance tasks such as replacing switches, outlets, receptacles, bulbs, ballasts, and fixtures.
- Complete carpentry, patching, and painting work while supporting general building upkeep.
- Process work orders, complete inspections, and support preventive maintenance activities across multiple sites.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of general maintenance experience in commercial or institutional facilities.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and the ability to operate company vehicles safely in varying conditions.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building systems, plus HVAC knowledge as required by the client scope.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively, along with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency using computerized work order systems (CMMS) and basic tablet or mobile device applications.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs., use ladders up to 30 ft., and work on a rotational on-call basis with overnight travel as required.
