Job Title: Technician – Integration Engineering – B
Location: Merritt Island, Florida (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are supporting an exciting opportunity for a Technician – Integration Engineering – B to contribute to safe and efficient human spaceflight. Our team is looking for a detail-focused professional who can support production readiness, precision work, and continuous improvement across complex aerospace hardware activities.
Responsibilities:
- Set up production areas with the required tooling and equipment to support efficient workflow and reduce delays during transition to high-rate manufacturing.
- Operate material handling equipment and precision calibrated tools while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.
- Apply thermal protection systems to flight hardware using written procedures, engineering models, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform surface preparation, fixturing, adhesive application, gap filling, vacuum bagging, second-party verifications, and hardware inspections.
Required:
- 2 or more years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, aircraft heavy depot level maintenance, or another related field.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
- Experience with precision calibration tools, including torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, and optical measuring instruments.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights and/or in confined spaces.
- Experience with adhesives, sealants, and thermal blankets, along with proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
