Job Title: Engineer
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are supporting a contract opportunity for an Engineer focused on container closure integrity and sterility assurance projects. Our team is looking for someone who can contribute to laboratory testing, data analysis, technical documentation, and method development while working closely with experienced engineers and scientists.
Responsibilities:
- Support the initiation, development, qualification, and execution of container closure integrity projects.
- Assist with laboratory studies, test method development and optimization, data collection, and data analysis.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including protocols, reports, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support equipment evaluations, troubleshooting, and automation initiatives.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 0-3 years of relevant industry experience; internship or co-op experience in a pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, or engineering environment is a plus.
- Strong technical writing and data analysis skills, with familiarity using Excel, JMP, Minitab, or similar statistical software.
- Exposure to container closure integrity, sterile product manufacturing, pharmaceutical packaging, or analytical test methods is preferred.
