Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota (On-Site)
Shift: First Shift, M-F 8:30-4:30
Job Summary: We are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician opportunity supporting a busy facilities environment in Saint Paul and the surrounding area. The selected candidate will help keep building systems running smoothly by performing preventive and corrective maintenance, completing repairs, and supporting day-to-day site operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems.
- Inspect and repair interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting.
- Complete maintenance tasks such as cleaning HVAC coils, changing filters and belts, repairing locks, doors, furniture, and plumbing components.
- Support documentation, safety, and administrative tasks including fire extinguisher records, work order updates, P-card receipts, and attendance at required meetings.
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Proficiency in basic computer application software such as MS Office, Outlook, and CMMS systems such as Maximo.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work in physically demanding conditions, including climbing, bending, kneeling, stooping, working overhead, working from heights, and being available for call-in work.
- Preferred qualifications include EPA Universal License, BAS experience, and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
