AI Data Annotation Analyst
Location: Remote (EST Working Hours are required)

We are seeking a Senior AI Data Annotation Analyst to manage end-to-end data annotation projects supporting AI and machine learning products. This role combines hands-on data annotation experience with strong project management skills to oversee workflows, coordinate vendors, and ensure high-quality data is delivered for AI model evaluation and improvement.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of data annotation projects, from initial planning and requirements gathering through execution and delivery.
- Coordinate project timelines, priorities, resources, and deliverables across multiple annotation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain annotation guidelines, evaluation rubrics, and quality standards.
- Partner with AI/ML engineering and data science teams to support model evaluation and improvement.
- Manage external annotation vendors, including onboarding, contracts, and project delivery.
- Review annotation quality, identify inconsistencies, and implement process improvements.
- Coordinate with legal, security, privacy, finance, and procurement teams to support vendor approvals.
Required Qualifications
- Project management experience with ownership of projects from start to finish.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with data annotation or data labeling workflows.
- Experience supporting AI/ML products, human evaluation, or model quality initiatives.
- Experience developing annotation guidelines, evaluation rubrics, or quality standards.
- Strong vendor management and cross-functional stakeholder coordination experience.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience navigating complex processes within large enterprise organizations.
