Job Title: Process Development Senior Associate
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (On-Site)
Job Summary: We are supporting a contract opportunity for a hands-on laboratory professional to join a collaborative team focused on microbiological method development and study execution. Our team is looking for someone who can contribute quickly, support laboratory operations, and help advance testing and documentation efforts within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Execute laboratory studies supporting microbiological method development, optimization, troubleshooting, and validation.
- Support testing activities related to endotoxin methods, microbial challenge and hold time studies, bacterial retention testing, and sterile filtration studies.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, summarize study results, and assist with protocols, technical assessments, and reports.
- Support day-to-day laboratory operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and participation in team meetings and study discussions.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of microbiology or related biological science experience.
- Hands-on experience in a QC micro lab or similar microbiology laboratory environment.
- Knowledge of compendial methods for bioburden, sterility, and endotoxin testing, including USP, EP, and JP.
- Hands-on testing experience with the ability to support laboratory work quickly after initial training.
- Familiarity with current compendial standards, laboratory procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
