Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Remote
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as the key accounting contact for managing significant profit and cost-sharing collaborations with leading pharmaceutical partners. Our team values strong analytical capabilities and proactive communication to support effective cross-functional collaboration and successful partnership management.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary accounting contact for multiple significant royalty and cost-sharing agreements with external partners.
- Prepare and record journal entries, invoices, and settlements in accordance with contractual partnership agreements.
- Maintain account and variance analyses for related balance sheet and income statement accounts, and prepare audit schedules for internal and external audits.
- Analyze agreements, resolve collaboration issues, and collaborate with legal personnel to interpret contract clauses and address disputes.
Required:
- CPA or MBA.
- Experience in accounting and/or finance, including analytical skills and the ability to drive process improvements.
- Experience with SAP and JDE general ledger systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and 4 years of experience, Master’s degree and 2 years of experience, Doctorate degree, Associate degree and 10 years of experience, or high school diploma/GED and 12 years of experience.
