Job Title: Analyst – Structural

Job Summary: We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented individual to deliver critical engineering analysis supporting the safety and functionality of aerospace ground systems and support hardware. Responsibilities:
- Conduct structural, functional, and dynamic analysis of umbilical systems, ground test equipment, launch pad structures, and handling/transport tooling to ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements.
- Develop and apply hand calculations and finite element analysis (FEA) models for performance validation under launch, abort, and ground handling scenarios.
- Document and present analysis findings in formal reports supporting design reviews and configuration release activities, collaborating with design and drafting teams for successful project delivery.
- Ensure adherence to applicable engineering standards by coordinating analyses for hardware subjected to rated loads, factors of safety, and regulatory requirements.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience performing structural analysis of aerospace, ground support, or mechanical systems using hand calculations and FEA tools (such as ANSYS, Nastran, Abaqus, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in static, dynamic, thermal, and load path analysis methods, including evaluation of rated loads and factors of safety.
- Familiarity with lifting/handling standards.
