Job Title: Analytical Chemist
Location: Cambridge, MA
Job Overview:
- Join our client’s Analytical Development team as an Analytical Chemist for a 12-month contract. You’ll play a key role in developing analytical methods for small molecule and oligonucleotide programs. This position requires expertise in analytical chemistry and experience with techniques like LC, LC-MS, GC, and GC-MS. Knowledge of organic chemistry or pharmaceutical science is essential. Experience with HRMS and prep LC is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute experiments, documenting findings.
- Optimize conditions for LC and GC methods, integrating MS and other detectors.
- Conduct sample testing, analyze data, and interpret results.
- Troubleshoot analytical and instrumentation issues.
- Draft technical reports and protocols.
- Engage in meetings to stay updated on analytical technologies.
Required Skills:
- Laboratory experience with skills like pipetting, solution prep, and filtration.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with LC and GC.
- Familiarity with HRMS and prep LC is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and eagerness to learn.
- Proficiency in office software and data management tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Education:
- MS or PhD in analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, pharmaceutical science, or related fields.
