Join Our Team as an Assistant Civil Designer!
Are you a talented individual with a passion for civil engineering and design? We’re looking for an Assistant Civil Designer to join our dynamic team and contribute to a variety of exciting projects in the field
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing civil projects including site development, roads, drainage systems, utilities, and traffic control
- Support drawing production, layout, calculations, and problem analysis for a range of assignments
- Interpret topographical and geologic data to plan and design projects effectively
- Ensure compliance with design codes and specifications to meet project requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to resolve design issues and achieve project objectives
- Maintain project drawings and related information in an organized manner
- Perform volume calculations for various aspects of projects, such as excavation and grading
- Incorporate schedules, budgets, and project criteria into civil design and layouts
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in drafting technology or related field
- 2-4 years of related experience in civil engineering design
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Excel
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
