Job Title: Assistant Construction Manager
Location: Bloomington, Minnesota (On-Site)

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented construction professional to support delivery of complex projects across multiple industries. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day management of project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, procurement, and documentation in collaboration with project leadership and field teams.
  • Support development and implementation of project plans, including Project Execution, Quality Assurance, Safety & Health, Subcontracting, Staffing, Organization Chart, and Procurement strategies.
  • Coordinate contract administration activities such as Requests for Proposal (RFPs), change orders, project permits, subcontractor/supplier onboarding, and downstream document control processes.
  • Facilitate critical project operations, including construction resource management, scheduling, cost tracking, compliance monitoring, audits, and project turnover documentation.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent relevant construction experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant construction experience, ideally supported by multiple years on project sites or in program management for industries such as aviation, commercial buildings, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, transmission & distribution, transportation, or water.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access). Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities; proven attention to detail and capability to manage high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment.
