Job Title: Assistant Construction Manager
Location: Reading, Pennsylvania (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team supporting a long-term program focused on transmission line, substation, and communications construction projects in the region. Our team is dedicated to cost management, project delivery, and building collaborative relationships with stakeholders across multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Support senior team members with full-cycle project activities, including scope vetting, work plan development, and financial forecasting.
- Drive project schedules and progress by coordinating with engineering, construction, and client stakeholders both in office and on-site settings.
- Manage procurement activities, contractor bid events, and facilitate meetings to ensure project milestones are met effectively.
- Maintain accountability for budget tracking, document management, and regular progress reporting to project leaders and clients.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field from an accredited curriculum.
- 2-5 years of experience in a construction project management role preferred; high voltage transmission line or substation project management experience considered a plus but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with an ability to effectively engage various project stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel within a 1–3 hour radius from the primary reporting location.
