Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively to produce detailed engineering drawings with precision and accuracy
- Assist in CAD drawing production and project execution, ensuring timely delivery
- Maintain proficiency in CAD systems and adapt to new software applications as needed
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members
- Review project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure alignment with client expectations
- Maintain records of CAD standards and provide valuable feedback on project work
Top Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new design software programs
- Experience with both 2D and 3D applications for engineering drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in drafting technology or related field and 2 years of relevant experience (OR)
- Associate Degree and 3 years of relevant experience (OR)
- 4 years of progressive detailing and design experience
- Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Excel
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multi-discipline team environment
