Job Title: Associate
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support our team’s efforts in advancing protein therapeutic drug candidates. Our work is a vital part of the organization, impacting large molecule drug discovery and development through analytical and laboratory-based research.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct protein purification, analytics, and characterization of large molecules.
- Organize, analyze, and report experimental findings to support lead candidate selection.
- Collaborate with Project, Analytics, and Automation teams to advance the pipeline.
- Utilize a variety of chromatography techniques and instrumentation for laboratory workflows.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field (Life Sciences preferred), OR Associate’s degree and 2 years of experience, OR high school diploma/GED and 4 years of experience.
- Exposure or experience with protein purification techniques, analytics fundamentals, instrumentation, and software.
- Familiarity with chromatography techniques such as Affinity, IEX, HIC, RP, MMC, and liquid chromatography instrumentation (FPLC) and software (Unicorn).
- Academic research experience during college is acceptable and desirable; entry-level industry experience is considered.
